Eneko ready for PIF

第44回太平洋諸国フォーラム(Pacific Islands Forum: PIF)がマーシャルにて9/3-6まで開催されます。オセアニア16カ国が参加します。今年のテーマは気候変化。異常気象が起きた時にお互いの国がどのように協力するかを協議します。

The 44th Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) will be held in the Marshall Islands from Sep.3 to 6. Oceania 16 countries will attend the PIF. The theme of the PIF this year is Climate Change which brings abnormal weather. These countries will discuss how corporate each other just in case.

マジュロ環礁の一部であるエネコ島はPIFの最終日の終了イベントで使われます。先週の土曜日に私を含むNTAの技術者はこの島にインターネット接続を可能にするために２つの無線装置を設置しました。これで最終日のイベントへの参加者は自分のWiFiデバイスでインターネットにいつでもアクセスが可能となります。

Eneko Island which is a rounded part of the Majuro Atoll will be used for the closing event on the final day of the PIF. NTA engineers including me installed two wireless equipments which provide Internet connection on the island last Saturday. Now attendants on the island can access Internet with their own WiFi devices anytime.

こんなところからもアクセスができます。ラグーンを見ながら南国の雰囲気でインターネットって最高な気分でしょうね。

NTAではマジュロのすべて公共の場所にインターネットアクセスポイントを提供します。これでどこでもいつでもインターネットが使えます。

NTA has provided Internet access points not only on the island but also all over Majuro. Now Internet access is available anywhere anytime.
